Request deletion of your account and associated data

How to Request Account Deletion

Method 1: Through the App

The easiest way to delete your account is directly through the app:

  1. Open the Flovingo app
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. You will see a confirmation dialog with a warning message
  5. Review the warning and tap "Delete" to confirm, or "Cancel" to abort
  6. Once confirmed, your account and all data will be permanently deleted

Note: The deletion process includes a two-step confirmation to prevent accidental deletion. After confirmation, your account data is deleted from both our servers and your device, and you will be redirected to the onboarding screen.

Method 2: Contact Our Support Team

You can also request account deletion by contacting our support team:

Complete Data Deletion

When you request account deletion, ALL of your data will be permanently and completely deleted. No data will remain on our servers.

The following data will be permanently removed:

  • User profile information (name, email address)
  • Learning progress and statistics
  • Word learning history
  • User preferences and settings
  • All associated app data
  • All personal information
  • All account-related data

No data will be retained. All information associated with your account will be permanently deleted with no exceptions.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you confirm account deletion through the app, the following happens immediately:

  • Backend deletion: Your account is deleted from our servers, and all related data is automatically removed through cascading deletion (user learnings, word learning history, preferences, etc.)
  • Authentication cleared: All authentication tokens are cleared, logging you out immediately
  • Local data deleted: All your data stored on your device (local SQLite database) is permanently removed
  • App state reset: All app settings and preferences are reset to default
  • Navigation: You are automatically redirected to the onboarding screen

Processing Time: Account deletion is processed immediately when you confirm. All data is permanently deleted with no retention period. The deletion is complete and irreversible.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is irreversible. Once your account is deleted, all of your data will be permanently and completely removed with no exceptions
  • No data will remain - all information associated with your account will be permanently deleted
  • You will lose access to all your learning progress, statistics, and achievements
  • If you have an active subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account
  • If you change your mind, you can create a new account, but your previous data cannot be restored
