How Flovingo works

Flovingo is built around one moment: you know what you want to say, and the words won’t come. Every part of the app trains that moment — out loud.

A session, step by step

Every day there is one question from everyday life. You answer it three times, and between the answers you learn how someone else says it.

    As is

    You answer out loud, without help. For most people this first answer is short and full of pauses — that is the point. It is your starting line, and you will hear it again.

    Listen

    Several people answer the same question, each from their own life. You choose whose answer to learn and listen to it, with a translation under every line.

    Shadowing

    You say the answer together with them: line by line first, then all of it. When a line holds a phrase worth keeping, it comes up as a card for you to say in your own words.

    Take 1

    The same question. This time the phrases are in front of you.

    Review

    AI reads your answer and shows what you said, one thing to work on, and a corrected version of your own answer — in your words, not someone else’s.

    One more answer, without hints.

    Difference

    Your takes side by side: how long you spoke, how many pauses, which phrases you used. You can listen to them one after the other.

Day four: the question comes back

Four days later the same question returns. You answer it cold, then hear your first answer and today’s back to back. Nothing piles up if you miss a day: there are never more than two a day.

Practice — a path of everyday topics

Each topic is one question from everyday life: your morning, your home, your work, your plans. Go along the path, or open any topic and repeat it with someone new whenever you like. History keeps every take you have recorded.

Repeat — texts to say aloud

Short texts written to be spoken, at your level: mostly everyday speech, some stories just for fun. You hear the whole text first, then go line by line — slower if you like, with a translation under each line.

Before a text, Flovingo shows only the words you don’t know yet, a few at a time, so you meet them before you say them. You can also paste your own text and hear it read in a voice you choose.

Words — learned for speaking

Mark each word «Learn» or «Already know», then practise in short exercises with audio and pictures. Every word comes back for review just as you are about to forget it. Scan a handwritten list to add it at once.

Your recordings

Only you can play your recordings. AI services transcribe and review them to give you feedback. Delete your account and they are deleted.

Your progress

The app counts the minutes you have spoken. Every take stays in your history, so your first answer is always there to compare with your latest.

What Flovingo never does

  • Nothing interrupts you while you speak. Feedback comes only between the takes.
  • No streaks to protect, no hearts, no leaderboards.
  • Miss a day and nothing piles up. You carry on where you are.
  • The voices are generated by AI, and the app says so.
